Why Confluence?

Arts Marketing Specialized for Small and Mid-sized Organizations.

Because you deserve an arts marketing partner who understands both your passion and the pressures of running a creative organization.

At Confluence Arts Solutions, we combine arts-industry expertise, marketing strategy, and data-driven support to help you grow audiences, increase earned revenue, and prevent burnout—for you and your team.

Your dream.
Our mission.

There’s something extraordinary about small and mid-sized arts organizations — you’re the heart and soul of creativity in your community. But we know that passion often comes with limited resources, long hours, and a constant pressure to do more with less.

At Confluence Arts Solutions, we’re here to help you turn that passion into sustainable growth. We combine arts marketing strategy, audience development expertise, and hands-on support to make sure your work gets seen, valued, and supported by the people who matter most.

Whether it’s creating a marketing plan that reflects your mission, optimizing campaigns to drive ticket sales and memberships, or lightening your daily workload, we act as an extension of your team — guiding, supporting, and helping you build systems that last.

Your art moves people. We make sure it reaches them.

What Happens When Passion Meets Process

We’ve helped dozens of arts organizations turn chaos into clarity. When marketing systems are structured around your goals — not guesswork — the results follow.

Lynette Shy

CEO/Consultant | Tap Dancer

Lynette Shy is marketer dedicated to empowering small to mid-sized arts organizations by driving revenue growth and enhancing organizational effectiveness. She believes art has the power to change the world, but for its impact to spread, it must be supported by a solid business foundation.

In the latter half of 2021, Lynette founded Confluence Arts Solutions—a fast-growing startup committed to providing tailored marketing support for small arts organizations. Before launching CAS, she served as the Marketing Director at BalletMet, where her leadership helped her team earn four Emmy Awards, secure 20 times more media coverage, consistently exceed single-ticket revenue targets, and boost revenue for The Nutcracker by 54% in just four years. With 14 years of experience as the Executive Director at Snap! Performance Productions, Lynette now also heads Marketing for the Columbus Eagles FC and is working to bring Women’s Professional Soccer to Columbus.  For fun she loves thrifting and reimagining items and cheering on the Columbus Crew!

Megan Woodward

Consultant | Dancer

Megan Woodward stands at the unique intersection of arts and business, bringing a fervent passion to both fields. She earned a B.F.A. in Dance from The Ohio State University’s College of Arts & Sciences and a B.S.B.A. in Marketing from Max M. Fisher College of Business, a combination that has propelled her dynamic career across Columbus, Chicago, and now Western New York.

Since joining Confluence Arts Solutions as a Consultant in 2023, Megan has collaborated with several clients on all aspects of marketing, with a specialized focus on digital ads and social media content. Today, she’s reshaping how artists and arts organizations manage marketing campaigns and visualize their strategies. Although her professional dance career is behind her, Megan continues to channel her love for the arts by teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers in New York.

For too long, there haven’t been real, practical resources to truly support organizations like yours—until now. That’s why I started Confluence Arts Solutions: to bridge the gap and provide the help you need to thrive.
