PERFORMING ARTS MARKETING 101
Launching November 2023
In this 6-week program, performing arts admins and marketers will fill the gaps in their organization’s marketing plans by actively working through the basics of marketing for the arts. Focusing on one show in your season, you will end the course with a marketing plan that can be repeated time and again for shows to come. Setting up a reliable and manageable system now allows for less work in your future!
Your step-by-step breakdown of the best practices for marketing performing arts with the limited staff, time, and budget in a small non-profit arts organization.
Join the course waitlist
This is a new program opening in the fall of 2023. If you join the waitlist, you’ll get first dibs on the very limited spots.
Although the cost for this course is not set yet, joining the waitlist does not need to be a commitment to the course and will allow you to hear first about the cost for this 6-week course. We understand the budget limitations of working in non-profit performing arts, and are actively working to make our courses affordable.
There is no required time of day that you must work on the course. On Mondays throughout the course, a new week will launch. On Tuesdays throughout the course, there will be an “office hours” style group call where someone from the Confluence team will be on a live call to work through thoughts and questions from the cohort. You are free to take the course at your own pace as the weeks launch, and you are free to take advantage of the weekly group calls as works best for you!
We’ll be honest, signing up for a course will add some work to your to-do list for the time being. But the reliable systems you will have in place when you are done will take work off of your desk in the future! During the course, a video tutorial and template will be launched each week to take you through the steps of marketing one of your shows in real time. Tutorials will be 30 minutes or less, and the templates are what you put into them.
The team at Confluence Arts Solutions have been where you are right now – artists and arts administrators who have worked at non-profits with limited staff, time, and budgets. Now, our team is working to change all of that. Through years of real experience and trial and error, we have seen the many sides of success and failure in marketing the arts. Because we understand that marketing the arts is DIFFERENT! We have tried and true methods to support your team in our back pockets, and are ready to share them with you!
